More Personal Accounts
Continuing the theme of personal accounts of WWII, two authors e-mailed me this week
about recent books on WWII. "Full Duty" by Thomas S. Fiske tells the store of the history
of the US Fifth Army as described by its HQ commander, Lt. Col. Laban Jackson.
"Name, Rank, and Serial Number" is the account of Pvt. McClelland who was captured
in Italy and held in Stalag VIIA.
